How the Exchange Server Mailbox Recovery Service Works

3. You download your restored files.

Answer: Your Exchange files are uploaded and stored on an encrypted FTP file server. Once the recovery is complete, all of your files are removed from our servers. At no point do any of your emails get opened.

Answer: You are only charged if we can succesfully restore your mail.
Question: How long does the recovery service take?
Answer: The average turn around time is 8 hours. If you have a large number or mailboxes or a large database, the process can take longer.
